Timeline to Build in Spain

A realistic timeline for your Spanish build — from first sketch to moving in.

One of the most common questions we hear is "how long will it take?" The honest answer depends on your municipality, the complexity of your project, and the current workload of local authorities. But we can give you a realistic stage-by-stage breakdown based on our experience across multiple Spanish regions.

Stage-by-stage timeline

Initial consultation and brief: 1 to 2 weeks. Concept design and preliminary sketches: 4 to 6 weeks. Detailed technical project (proyecto básico + ejecución): 8 to 12 weeks.
