About Olena Solodovnik

Olena Solodovnik

Olena Solodovnik is a Ukrainian architect known for serene, light-filled residences that balance sculptural clarity with soulful detail. Raised in Odesa, her sensibility is shaped by the city's seaside calm and intimate courtyards, and refined through collaborations across Southern Europe.

Olena studied at the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, where her early studio projects attracted leading practices. She went on to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on bespoke homes, hospitality concepts, and civic commissions.

She believes generous functionality naturally unlocks beauty. Each commission begins with attentive dialogue, choreographing light, material, and proportion while weaving Ukrainian craft influences into contemporary spaces.

Today Olena divides her time between Ukraine and Southern Europe, partnering with Ukrainian clients in Spain and beyond. She remains committed to cultural and reconstruction initiatives, bringing thoughtful design to emerging communities.

Olena works closely with consultants, artisans, and builders from concept through completion, ensuring ideas land with precision. She embraces new tools—including generative design and AI-assisted workflows—whenever they enrich the creative process, and her studio continues to shape expressive, enduring environments for clients who value architecture that feels both timeless and unmistakably Ukrainian.
